City leagues

NKY pickleball is less a single city rec department and more a patchwork: parks clinics, Y open play, club socials, and informal morning groups. Start with the city you live in, then steal a night from the next county over.

By city

Boone County

Florence

Indoor-first. Look at Sports of All Sorts, St. Henry Athletic Center, and a short drive to Five Seasons in Crestview Hills.

Kenton County

Independence

Best public outdoor inventory in southern Kenton: Richardson Road (6) plus Memorial Park (3). Kenton County 101 classes nearby.

Kenton County

Fort Mitchell

Ormsby Park is the social hub — eight free outdoor courts. Five Seasons is five minutes away for indoor and league play.

Kenton County

Covington

Pioneer Park for clinics and rec, Gus Sheehan for a smaller neighborhood set. Indoor: hop to Crestview Hills or Fort Thomas.

Campbell County

Fort Thomas

Campbell County YMCA indoor open play is the weekday anchor. Outdoor overflow at Cold Spring and A.J. Jolly.

Campbell County

Newport

Indoor drop-in at Make It Rain Hoops when weather turns. Outdoor players usually drive to Cold Spring or Fort Mitchell.

Campbell County

Alexandria

A.J. Jolly Park for outdoor, The Bridge Church indoor by appointment. Quiet compared with Fort Mitchell weekends.

Campbell County

Highland Heights

PickleBarn NKY is the year-round indoor home court. NKU-area players can be on a reserved court in minutes.
